SMS AWARENESS -INTRODUCTION
Learn and understand the need for a Safety Management System.
This online course satisfies the needs of any organisation that requires its staff to be knowledgable about safety management and its importance. The competencies are taken from the ICAO Safety Management Manual (SMM) Doc 9859 and CASA’s CAAP (149 – 1(0)).
This course is suitable for use as an SMS awareness program for all employees of any size organisation.

A certificate of completion will be awarded to participants who have successfully finished the course. This course is suitable for both initial and refresher training.

SMS Awareness
- Module 1: An Introduction to Safety Management
On-line: This course is delivered via the internet. you may study at your own pace. The length of time spent studying this course depends on you; your reading speed, proficiency with the English language, and how quickly you progress through the assessments. However, on average, students spend approximately 1 hour in total to complete the course.
There are no prerequisites for admission to the on-line SMS Awareness course.
