Aviation Auditor Refresher Course

Programme Information

What will I learn?

Auditors learn one fundamental truth about aviation; its only constant is change. Regulations change, people change, technology changes and so too does your competency. To keep current and relevant, and to keep your organisation within acceptable levels of risk; you need to practice your skills, perfect them over time and to have them audited! You will learn what you have forgotten about auditing.

Is this course for me?

We all forget over time. If you are an auditor or international consultant, then book yourself in for a check-up—a review of your technique and methods; discuss your problems, doubts, and successes with others who are just like you. This course is for experienced auditors who haven’t refreshed their qualifications in some time, or perhaps have had a break from auditing and would like to brush up on their skills.

What are the course objectives?

The objective of this course is to refresh your knowledge about how to lead an audit team. Given a variety of aviation workplace scenarios, you are asked to review a plan, participate in and lead an audit team through the entire cycle of an audit, using defined strategies and techniques as described in ISO 19011.
